The Station fire is
reportedly 22% contained (wonder how they calculate that) as of this morning and some of my friends have returned to their homes in La Crescenta/La Canada area. Last night Mt. Wilson and the transmitters were sorely threatened but due to heroic efforts were still standing this morning. Tujunga Canyon seems to have gotten the worse of it at this point. I need to check with another colleague who lives there.
Full containment is not expected until September 15 --2 weeks!
